More than 1000 NET patients and healthcare professionals from 43 countries have participated during the first two weeks since the Survey of Challenges in Access to Diagnostics and Treatment for NET Patients (SCAN) launch. Thank you to everyone who took part and shared their thoughts on the challenges that NET patients face in terms of access to diagnostics, treatment and care. Thanks to the collective effort of our NET community to spread the word, we are getting closer to our goal of collecting robust, global data reflective of the NET patients’ experience.
What have we heard so far from the NET patient community? Let us reveal a bit of what you have shared with us. One-third of respondents are completely satisfied with the NET patient care received while 2/3 state that their needs are not met, with about every 5th respondent being deeply critical. What do you think? Share your viewpoint with SCAN!
Note: SCAN Interim data, sample: 985: NET patients & caregivers
We have four more weeks to go and we are kindly inviting all NET patients and healthcare professionals to support the global effort to assess access challenges.
Medical oncologists, endocrinologists, gastrointestinal specialists, pathologists, nuclear medicine specialists, surgeons, hematologists, pulmonologists, radiologists, psychologists, general practitioners and nurses are invited to participate. All healthcare professionals with specialties related to NETs are invited to share their viewpoints. The survey should take no more than 10 minutes to complete.
Help us spread the word to achieve global impact! The survey is available in 14 languages.
