INCA is proud to share that for a second consecutive year, the neuroendocrine cancer patient perspective is featured in the Library of Abstracts of the biggest oncology event worldwide, the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Annual Meeting. While the meeting is normally attended by more than 40 000 professionals, in 2020 it was conducted virtually due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Oncology professionals from around the world tuned in for the ASCO20 Virtual Scientific Program to see the brightest minds in oncology presenting state-of-the-art treatment modalities and new therapies. The Virtual ASCO 2020 was held with full session, clinical science symposia, poster presentations & discussions on May 29-31.

At ASCO 2020 INCA presented an abstract to raise awareness on specialized techniques and latest interventions in neuroendocrine cancer diagnostics and treatment. In 2019 we showed the considerable disparity in what patients feel is available to them in terms of the latest tools and treatments, compared to what there is in reality. This topic was further showcased at the 2019 ASCO Global Summit for Oncology Innovators in Bangkok.
