In the first months of 2024, INCA is happy to welcome three new member organizations into the global NET patient community to work towards greater impact on NET awareness and care.
The new members are:
- the Greek Neuroendocrine Tumor Society (GrNETs) – a dedicated NET patient group in Greece;
- Fundación GIST Chile – an experienced cancer patient organization in Chile, focusing on gastrointestinal cancers, including NETs;
- Esperantra, Peru – an experienced cancer advocacy organization helping patients with different cancers in Peru, including uncommon ones such as NETs.
Stephanie Alband, INCA President, extends a warm welcome to the new INCA members: “We are happy that new likeminded and determined patient advocates are joining our global community. Together we will have a richer view on the global issues and will be stronger in standing for NET patients around the world. Now NET patients in Europe and South America will have more options for information and support.”
INCA is now representing 37 patient organizations in 29 countries on 6 continents.
