INCA is proud to share that the abstract Survey of Challenges in Access to Diagnostics and Treatment for Neuroendocrine Tumor (NET) Patients (SCAN) – Usage & Affordability of Nuclear Medicine Tools, a Comparative Perspective has been accepted as an oral presentation within a featured session of the scientific program of EANM’20. EANM’20 is the 33rd Annual Congress of the European Association of Nuclear Medicine (EANM), which will take place in Vienna, from 17 to 21 October 2020. INCA appreciates the recognition and will use this opportunity to present its findings before the nuclear medicine community in order to highlight the global issues and set the stage for improved access for all NET patients.

The EANM Congress is the world-leading meeting in Nuclear Medicine. The number of participants in 2019 were more than 6950.  Nuclear medicine keeps on growing in many clinical areas, from diagnostic imaging to therapy and gives some of the most promising results in the treatment and ongoing management of NETs nowadays. PET imaging works so well because of the unique functional information provided to clinicians, and this feature is the key to the ongoing rapid diffusion of nuclear medicine.
