INCA President Stephanie Alband participated in the ENETS Advisory Board, on November 28-29th, 2024, in Amsterdam. Two days dedicated to issues of key significance for the development of NET expertise with a vision to provide optimal care for NET patients, advance meaningful practice-changing research on a global scale and ensure active patient involvement in setting research priorities. NEN educational activities and productive partnerships across disciplines were some of the key focal points.
Stephanie Alband reported on INCA recent achievements, highlighting the launch of the CME-accredited Think NENs Global Educational Program for Primary Care Physicians in 6 languages, which was an effort involving ENETS as a key partner. Other highlights included: INCA’s growing membership and recognition, the successful global campaign for NET Cancer Day 2024, the empowering joint ENETS-INCA NET Cancer Day 2024 Educational Webinar, the enriched INCA research web section with insights from NEN researchers and the introduction of new educational activities for evidence-based advocacy.
