The INCA Boot Camp for Research Advocates managed by INCA Research Committee was launched and has enrolled 18 of the most active neuroendocrine cancer patients and advocates from Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe and North America. Simone Leyden, Chair of the INCA Research Committee welcomed all participants and informed on the importance of this key project for INCA and for the whole NET patient and advocate community.

The Boot Camp for Research Patient Advocates will be a 9-month online training program for NET patient advocates representing member organizations of INCA. The program will be carried out by the Patvocates Network via monthly webinars, , covering various topics from statistics to lobbying in order to better equip NET patient advocates in our common endeavor towards more active patient involvement in clinical trials from the outset.

The program aims to educate leading NET patient advocates, who would further share their knowledge in their local communities.
