Global cooperation always matters, but especially when faced with a global crisis it becomes essential to consolidate efforts in making the patient voice heard. In order to develop a global pool of educated neuroendocrine cancer research patient advocate experts to push for patient involvement in NET medical research, INCA launches its first Boot Camp for Research Patient Advocates. The Boot Camp will provide a 7-month training program for NET patient advocates from all over the world – representatives of active NET patient organizations & members of INCA.
The program will be carried out by the Patvocates Network and delivered as web-based training, consisting of regular webinars with individual tutoring by the trainers provided to the participants.
INCA takes this action both to reflect the needs of the NET patient community and to build a future with more active involvement of NET patients globally in medical research for NET treatment.
The INCA Boot Camp will take place from June 2020 to February 2021.
