Duncan Macduff

Biography
A patient volunteer and Board member for NETSAS (Neuro-Endocrine Tumour Southern Africa Support). Duncan Macduff was diagnosed with advanced metastatic pancreatic NET in February 2021. This was the start of a new chapter in the nonprofit health and NETs advocacy sector. Duncan’s focus is on building out the NETSAS organisation strategy, patient support, increasing awareness of neuroendocrine cancers and advocating for better access to treatments.
Duncan serves as the chair of the INCA Communications Committee.
He presented the patients perspective to the South African Society of Nuclear Medicine Congress and other forums.
Duncan is married to Teri and has two young daughters Riley and Frankie. He recharges his batteries by spending time nature and enjoys hiking the mountains around Cape Town checking his camera traps for pictures of leopards.
