NeuroEndocrine Cancer Australia
(formerly Unicorn Foundation)
The NeuroEndocrine Cancer Australia, formerly Unicorn Foundation, is the only Australian not for profit organisation directed to the needs of neuroendocrine patients. Inspired by the journey shared with their sister Kate Leyden who suffered from a pancreatic neuroendocrine tumour, Dr John Leyden and sister Simone founded the Foundation in 2008. The NeuroEndocrine Cancer Australia’s mission is to raise awareness, educate, support, advocate and promote research in the area of neuroendocrine tumours in Australia.
